Kathy Burleson

Soon after starting my first job right out of college, I knew I was in a special place when my tagline, copy and rough layout became the basis for a major campaign, starting with a poster, then a TV spot and a series of small space 4 color magazine ads. I wrote the tagline, "A flower is worth a thousand words" with my own engagement experience in mind. This Washington Post Magazine article tells the whole story.
